John Terry would be my first choice for comedy purposes , but I’d take Eddie Howe
Personally I would prefer Howe, he will not fix that defence and will walk out in March with PTSD from the the fans baying for his head (no pun intended). John Terry as funny as it would be, just an outside chance that he might sort the defence a bit with him being a defender and with some money flung at it, could keep them up.

Cheers, found it now and it probably dropped due to that tweet from the Italian bloke.

Has Scott Parker been mentioned? ;) Doing well at Bournemouth with a 70% win percentage. Ex Mag player so knows the club so why not just get him in now rather than the old has been Bournemouth manager. He was the last Mag player to lift hold a winning trophy certificate for Newcastle anarl. He's 100-1 on oddchecker but imagine if loads put a few quid on Parker for a laugh and the odds dropped and it was picked up by media and caused more speculation and betting etc and then the tw@tter meltdoon

I'm sure someone more talented than me could come up with an approriate substitute 1st verse
Surely not that many changes required from the Rose Royce version - already includes the lyric "this ain't no place to be if you're planning on being a star".

Bruce was a defender.

They're all loathsome shites but that article precedes Khashoggi's murder (it's from March 2018). I'm sure many of the invitees would be discovering diary clashes if it was 2021. Not from any sense of moral outrage, just PR.
To a point, yes. If that was completely the case they’d never have gotten their mitts on the league’s biggest tits.
