I know mate. I was fishing
Sure? ;) Some on here really thought it was a mosque and obviously got noticed by that deluded fella on Tw@tter. The thread from back in 2019 on here points out that it was Spanish City and there's nee mention of mosque anywhere.

Some jumped to conclusions earlier in this thread given their new owners, even after it was said to be Spanish City  Though to be fair, unless someone didn't know it was an old banner and what Spanish City looked like then they may well jump to that conclusion. However, why would anyone think to associate Spanish City with the Mags anyway apart from a few mags who may have been there in their youth?

We've got a big mosque near Millfield next to Aldi. Though not quite Spanish City, it's a very similar style with the dome and 2 towers either side.

If you showed the banner to a footy fan now but had never been to the North East and asked them if it was a mosque or not after showing them pictures such as the one above, just how many would say aye they think it's a mosque? If explained to them what it actually is and where it is, I suppose the next question would be "Why the fuck did they choose that? Why not the Angel Of The North or Tyne Bridge?"
(I know the AOTN is in Gateshead)

Still very sorry for your loss. Know he meant the world to you and bet the game isn't the same without him.
Thank you, and it’s not, it never will be, but he wanted me to keep going, was one of his last wishes so I’ll keep going.
Mind, I did say to me mam yesterday is it okay to still call him for making me support Sunderland and hope he hears me up there 😄

Replace could with likely. I'm not at all as confident as many in here that we can turn it around. Not at all.
I know it's obvious, but November is f***ing huge for you. You don't got look like beating any of the top sides, given you hardly attack them. Might sneak a draw somewhere but it makes the upcoming games massive. Is it Brighton, Burnley and Norwich you've got coming up? 6 points from safety you'll likely need 6 or 7 from that to avoid being adrift come January given the December fixtures. Be interesting to see what they do in January. Mind, if they're genuinely wanting to turn you into the next city, which is far from certain at this point, I guess a relegation wouldn't really bother them, other than the embarrassment of it

There's already a bit of distance between them and getting out of the relegation zone. It's going to make the task of attracting January players more challenging. It's a strange period for them as they seem to have gone into a zombie state on the pitch.

Aye im sure. There's enough to get the brainwashed idiots with without using this.

This is massively important imo. They need to set the right tone and start as they mean to go on. A relegation straight off the bat could be pretty damning.

We need to beat those teams and arguably hope to try and shithouse a win against one of the bigger teams too to give us any chance come January.

What are you doing about it? It’s your club they’ve taken.
I'm in a harder position because I don't want to be seen to bite the hand that feeds (even though that sentence makes me feel sick). That's why I'm encouraging as many people to act as possible. Why I also suggested other fanbases should pass the banners they create to make a consistent and ever growing statement. I've also stated I would happily donate to a cause to support those in Yemen if someone started one. I'm sure many other Newcastle fans would too.

I've also taken recently to twitter to defend the club's backing of that lad who came out and made it very clear that those views will not be tolerated at our club.
Respect to @mag in peace as @janey dad was a top top gentleman ❤️
Thanks mate but I didn't do it for respect hence why I never really said anything about it at the time. Just did it because it was right and I'd hope that someone would do likewise if they were in my shoes.

Never met Janey and didn't know her dad but could judge a good character when you see it.

I also feel a bit ashamed that I've bought it up now. I just wanted to prove I'm not a bad person and that hasn't changed.

It would be biased and discriminatory and we are fair and open in our discussions but I am fed up with the pathetic limp apologetic ,amoral stances and puerile arguments flaunted by orcs such as mag in peace, the fish and ilk in defence of the abhorrent Saudi regime and its undisguised ownership of NUFC.
I am of the opinion that these apologists of terror and torture should be removed from membership of this forum😊😊
My opinion of course
I agree 100%, they need removing as they don't add anything useful to this forum, I'm fed up of reading the 🐪 💩 posted by these 🐖💩 🍑 🕳️ 🕳️
PHEW! I managed not to tell them to FUCK OFF :D

The danger is and its probably already happening, is that some mags start to sympathise or even agree with Saudi values.

Big thanks to the Premier League for turning the tap on which now has raw sewage flowing out of it.

won’t take much to get some of the idiots on board.

This Saudi was at the Spurs game:

Maybe they are going to fly over a different Saudi celebrity each game to help brainwash the locals.

They haven’t even won a game yet - can’t even imagine what behaviour we’ll see in a few years time.
