Drinking in Sunderland City Centre - restored

Was in town last night and saw a bouncer in one bar dealing what I presume was drugs , bellend
I saw the same on Friday afternoon not a bouncer mind
Was walking past spent grain and I noticed the door to the flat upstairs was open and a lass was standing in the porch vestibule bit
Two black lads were walking along and as we passed at the door one reached in and without breaking stride handed her something that she took without a word she shut the door and the two lads walked on
Obviously some drugs transaction but what do you do
Report it?

Good to see it picking up.
Not a place I’d go out to on a Saturday night now (seeing as I’m hitting 50) but pleased that it’s busy.
Mind I hardly recognise any of the pub names being bandied about on this thread.

Age is just a number my friend, a few bars where the older people go like Greens and Life of Riley

Town was horrible on Saturday mind, now it's getting busier the dickheads are re-appearing, and it's only gonna get worse with December coming up.

Was horrible Sunday morning going to work. Had to be in Newcastle by 7am, which necessitated the use of the 5.30 bus from Park Lane. Absolute complete and utter states all over the place. Hurt to look around and I felt like Travis Bickle taking in the whole mess stone cold sober.

Anyone have any idea what that Craig’s Sports Bar is like beside Victors and Halo? We fancy a change of scenery before the match on Saturday with it being a cup match and with the Manchester derby being the early kick off fancy finding somewhere to watch it. Our usual haunt of Fitzies is well short of teles and unless you’re in very early all the tables in front of the teles are gone. I know there’s Streetbar which is also a sports bar just further down but I’ve been in there once before.

Only been in the once but It was canny. Decent size place, plenty of TVs, pool table, good selection of drinks
