I'm embarrassed at the antics of Newcastle supporters and I'm one of them. I walked away from the premier league a good while back, it's just not enjoyable. What were we playing for? Nowt, is the answer. Chucking our hand in for the cup games and happy to scrape by in the league. Now we're the richest club in the world and I couldn't be less happy about it. KSA represent a backward medieval system and we shouldn't be anywhere near them . I would sooner be in rhe Northern League without them than where we are. While we're at it I'd like to see a complete trade embargo with Saudi and I'd like it to be worldwide. It's not just Newcastle that are dealing with them, our government provide them with weapons to kill Yemeni citizens. There are folks here who support that government. It's not a defence of NUFC to point this out. KSA are a vile regime and the world needs to shun them. It will cost jobs and niney, but so what. There's no excuse. Cut them off from the world, let's see how long they survive eating sand and drinking oil.
Finally a good post from a Newcastle supporter.

They’ll not class him as a real Geordie like wor Rafa now 🤣Bruce never made it to Geordie status as he was never liked

It’s the Spanish city at Whitley bay sea front you knacker.

Granted it’s not in Newcastle either, it’s firmly in the heart of north tyneside thank you very much. I could be wrong as well but there’s a pit wheel on there, the closest pit I know of to newcastle is probably killingworth (again north tyneside) yet the most famous pit north of the Tyne is probably woodhorn at ashington (Northumberland) think they’ve now stolen that piece of history also
Spanish City isn't Newcastle, they've co-opted a plausible lie to appease their ISIS overlords. f***ing scum.

Well said that man. No doubt you'll be getting an invite to 'The Mag' embassy courtesy of the two-bob Taliban apologist Mullah Wraith.

Newcastle United's new owners have been forced to keep Sports Direct signage up inside St James’ Park due to legal clauses inserted by former owner Mike Ashley ahead of the club’s sale.
The clauses mean the new Saudi owners have not be able to remove the ads but after the takeover led by British businesswoman Amanda Staveley (below) hopes remain they will come down in the ‘short-term’.
They were still evident during yesterday’s match against Chelsea. The sponsorship agreement between Ashley’s sports retailer and Newcastle United runs to the end of the season.

Surely if there’s loads of money to splash around, they could just bung some of it in Ashley’s direction and that would sort that out?

Like almost everyone else I never gave them a second thought. If you were to believe this board you lot have been outraged by them for ever.

Do you think only British people were outraged by his murder?
I've always been aware of the Saudis but never discussed them on here. The fact they bought you batshit crazy lot brought it too close for my comfort does that mean my outrage is faux? Likewise my discust at the world cup in Qatar grew as it got nearer and reports of the human cost of building the stadiums increased.

As for the Khashoggi murder comment the whole of the western world was outraged is that not enough for you to sit back and think hang on do we really want to be associated with these guys?.

I’ve heard before that Ashley’s demands re advertising scuppered previous sales
Be interested to see who risks being associated with the Saudis

It’s such a nonsense argument anyway and the Mags don’t realise it shows them in an even poorer light.

Some people weren’t aware of what the Saudi regime was like. Their buying of NUFC has led to people reading up on it as it’s suddenly close to home. SAFC fans are disgusted by what they discover and are derided for it by NUFC who, on discovering the same things, decide to don tea towels and celebrate bring rich.

A sizeable proportion of both fanbases will have been educated on Saudi atrocities in the last couple of weeks. Both should be equally appalled by it.

It’s also incredibly condescending and deluded to think every other club will just lay down and let them win everything.

There will be tightening up of FFP / sponsorship as we are seeing. The other big problem is, there is a relatively small pool of elite players.

You’ve got.. City, Chelsea, Man Utd, PSG, Juve. That’s excluding the likes of Liverpool, the Spanish giants I could go on… all in competition to sign them.

The vast majority of top flight clubs have billionaire owners.

Juve and Barca are fading very quickly mate. Both in hundreds of millions of debt which they thought their dodgy super league breakaway would prop up but it has bitten them bigstyle. Literally what they have won in last 2 decades has been on the never never imo.

Exactly. It's a pathetic rational @keybuk .
I've made this point before. My son got a disease called myasthenia gravis. I knew fuck all about it but after he got it I learnt all there was to know. Just like MBS owning nufc. If nufc or football fans has never heard of him before, it's obvious people want to learn about this disease coming into our support.
This should be similar to anything effecting something which you love / like a lot.

Makes all the difference. First time I’ve genuinely felt bad for a mag on here.

The reason why so many of them are acting the way they are (deflect deflect deflect, worrabootery, arnly jealous, mackems fault, Disney etc etc etc) is that they’re in full defence mode trying to get it right in their head.

The fact is they’ve been stitched up by Horror Fyess, Boris Johnson and a sophisticated network of Saudi contacts who have conspired to capture NUFC as a sportswashing outlet and there’s nothing they can do about it.

You know what winds me up? They haven't won in 10 and a single win will have them on the same points as 17th  .

You know for a fact if we'd been in the premier league without a single win in 10 we'd be about 15 points from safety.
I saw our stars for the first 10 games of the 2005/06 PL season and the weren't that bad but we seemed to be all but relegated at that point.

The quality of the bottom half definitely gets worse every year.

f***ing hell. So they make a big flag , with very little on it, but they decide that one of the prominent landscapes of Newcastle is now a mosque!
So Newcastle is now synonymous with mosques! Their fans make me want to vomit.
As you say, sportswashing at its finest

Its not a f***ing Mosque man  dont be one of those knackers
