I can't get my head around them not having someone lined up before the take over went through. They've been planning the takeover for years, it's like they thought that being rich would mean every top manager in the world would be banging their door down instantly for the job.

Looking on, it seems obvious that they need a slow build,.we all know the fans don't have the patience, hopefully they're just going chuck loads of money at it aimlessly to give them what they want.
 

PIF don't need to worry about nufc now, that deal concluded weeks ago. They've moved onto the day job of actively managing a £300B fund, plus they are also busy with the acquisition of bigger football clubs in both Italy and France. PIF will no doubt send the agreed £50M a season to Charnley and Queen Amanda, but without any local autonomy Manda will have to seek PIF sign off to any major spending, probably big delays in that process.

They maybe waiting to see how their profile is with the press and the public before hoying a shit load of money in they won't get back.
If the vilification gets worse they may think that the sportwashing exercise just isn't worth it as it isn't working, and doing its intended priority.

More importantly KLD had a clear vision and strategy for the club in appointing Speakman before he officially came in.
 
The Murderers have probably forgotten they’ve bought Newcastle by now. They’ve made a few other investments since the Mags deal went through.

As for Jones, imagine putting the man who has been putting together all the failed coaching sessions for the last year I charge. They players still have to listen to the same droning voice

You NEVER replace the manager with the assistant these days. It’s not 1980 anymore.
