So many Saudi bots on twitter, and now plenty of them will also be created as being Newcastle fans to deflect from criticism and legitimize their ownership and ideals. The easily led/stupid segment of mags will also buy into the rhetoric and push the agenda for them, which you can already see in the what about (insert investment etc.)

Fair play to Edwards if I am reading that correctly...heard him on TS the night the takeover was confirmed and amid all of the hyperbole he said it was total sportswashing and needs to be called out as such.
He alternates between night time outbursts and blowing smoke up the unwashed’s hoops by day.

It must be very distressing to have had the easiest job in sports journalism (constantly blowing smoke up mag hoops at the expense of other teams) then being faced with a huge moral dilemma.

IMHO - We are in no position to judge another cultures views no matter how prehistoric we view them. But at the time we should not be welcoming to our national game with open arms.
When another culture is happy to discriminate against people because of their sex or sexuality, I feel perfectly confident in my position to judge them. Some things are absolutes, and this is one of them.

This is 100% correct....to anyone who doubts this post at all watch "The Dissident" (about the abduction and murder of Khashoggi) and see it all in full swing, how they had a whole department set up to manipulate Twitter and social media....frightening, very frightening!!

What a joke man.. the entire article was written by a 5 year old that just got some new crayons.. and the comment about the taste of the cathedral on the hill.. All you could hear on the highlights was the Spurs fans taking the piss! Clowns
I’ve never read The Mag before the head choppers took over but it’s worse than I could’ve imagined.

Comparing worldwide condemnation of Saudis sportswashing their club to The Sun’s attack on Hillsborough was probably the worst thing I’ve ever read.

Was there any apology for that by the way?

:lol:They’re as obsessed with Disney as they were with transparency. It’s their new word. Pathetic.

You’re basically a Saudi lover if you like Disney as they have a (very) small investment in them. Same with Uber. It’s all they can reply with.
 f***ing Disney man. Yes, I hoy a tea towel on my head, grabbed a Saudi flag and celebrated the regime every time the bairn wanted to watch a cartoon film.
They really are the PR department for this regime, the Lord Haw Haw's or Oswald Moseley's of the 21st century.
