Put a flat earthier into space

No, we're not. You in particular are not. You don't even know what the word means.
The word science is the Earth and everything about it.
The word, scientist is any person trying to understand it in any way shape or form.
It makes every person a scientist.
That's why we perform experiments to test those theories, with clear outlines as to what the expected results would be of those experiments if they are to prove or disprove any particular theory.
And that depends on the theories and the reality of the outcome of those tests.
This is what's being argued and you telling me it's all above board is you telling me you accept and/or believe everything told and sold to you, as factual, without actually knowing for sure if it is what you argue for.
...of something you don't understand.
There's a lot I don't understand. Gobbledygook is difficult to understand with this space bull and what not. The thing is, you don't understand it but you think you do because you accept it from books and such without actually knowing what's what.

Which you don't. You put your fingers in your ears to proofs.
I can level this at anyone, to be fair.
You don't understand space AND you don't understand waves.
Life is much more simple than people believe. The issue is in the stories sold and told are done in a way that literally sells complicated without explaining why.
When you break it all down it becomes much more clear.
A wave is simply that. Water itself will show you what a wave is in a simpler form.
It's all about looking deeper into the simplicity if you can push aside the gobbledygook.
Just because YOU don't understand it, doesn't make it nonsense, it just means you're either not intelligent enough to understand.
Lot's of things I don't understand that aren't nonsense. What we're arguing isn't part of it.
You ridiculous cell theory with a carbon arc lamp surrounded by gold, silver and crystals, projecting the sum, moon, planets and stars onto a dome of hydrogen and helium ice that's a superfluid at the bottom but a solid above that (and thus staying up how?) is a hell of a story but is ABSOLUTE fiction that you don't even have any evidence of.
I have my own evidence and is the reason why I go with what I go with.
this 'we are all scientists' line is bastardised by people like him. Pertaining to normal folk this is the desire to find out stuff. Regarding conspiracy people this actually means anything goes and any opinion is as valid as fact.
My opinion is valid. Not as a fact but as a retaliation to other opinions that are not backed up as factual but are equally as valid as an opinion. This is called debating and debating can only work if people are not in control of the facts.

Forgot to end that sentence. Got distracted.

"...either not intelligent enough to understand or too obstinate."
What is intelligence?
Is it the ability to memorise and regurgitate what is memorised onto a piece of paper for the reward pf marks or a star or a grade?
When does intelligence start and end in that regard?
Is it an A* for super intelligence and a F for none whatsoever?

Or does intelligence stretch much farther than that?

You tell me.

I think it's about time the original threadstarter came back.
I still think it is a good idea, for those that doubt that we live on an oblate spheroid. If a flat earth organisation wants to come up with a counter offer and put someone who doubts the flat earth on the dark side to prove that it exists then I am equally fine with that.

I read somewhere that when Einstein produced his „Special Theory of Relativity“ it contained no citations, almost no maths and did’nt reference any work that had been done before.

It was said he had reached his conclusions by just thought, almost without help and ignoring the opinions of others.

Maybe we have a genius among us.

Or maybe Nukey read the same thing and thought „I could do that!“
Or maybe the theory of relativity is absolute nonsense.
Maybe everything I say is nonsense to those who don't think like me.

Who is correct?
You can follow the rainbow to the pot of gold but will you ever find it?

they can't penetrate the cold area near the middle or the carbon ice dome around us so no expedition or experiment can be performed to find out. Convenient!

He must have been not used to people backing up their science conversations with proofs, and so as a consequence we're now all on ignore and he's getting no apparent attention anymore.
You're not on ignore but when I do ignore I generally do it to those who spend too much time being bitter.
I'm one person trying to answer to many.
If I had to answer to those who spew bitterness on top of those just coming out with, "oh what an oddball" etc, then I'd struggle.

So what I do is generally ignore those who do it regularly which frees up the boardf for ease of replies.
Hopefully you understand this and take part and stop the bitterness. It doesn't bother me because I can re-ignore and if it doesn't bother you then carry on with how you were.

;)

Such as?

Let's start with gravity.
Any idea how that works?
it informs my satnav through a medium and with friction to point me in the right direction.

insulated by heat light sound it adds a boost to my fuel efficiency by reducing drag from the carbon arc central energy vortex.

Pretty sensible if you ask me.
I'm sure we've all seen what nitrogen can do to humans and machinery/metals/plastics....etc.....right?

Take the suns energy out of the equation in terms of minimal energy reaching certain parts of the Earth then it's going to offer extremely minute agitation of matter and basically solidify anything within.

there's no sun mate, keep up
