Put a flat earthier into space

One thing conspiracy theorists love, it is attention.

He must have been not used to people backing up their science conversations with proofs, and so as a consequence we're now all on ignore and he's getting no apparent attention anymore.

Ok I'll start. If The Sun gave us 10 times the normal level of vitamin D, how different would humans and plants be? That's assuming the Earth is spherical (keeps it on topic and stops the mods locking the thread) Don't tell 'em Pike :D

At least as different as they are today.

Can't make enough to get to overdose levels apparently:-

Synthesis in the skin[ ]

Vitamin D3 is produced photochemically from 7-dehydrocholesterol in the skin of most vertebrate animals, including humans. The precursor of vitamin D3, 7-dehydrocholesterol is produced in relatively large quantities. 7-Dehydrocholesterol reacts with at of 290–315 nm. These wavelengths are present in sunlight, as well as in the light emitted by the UV lamps in (which produce ultraviolet primarily in the spectrum, but typically produce 4% to 10% of the total UV emissions as UVB). Exposure to light through windows is insufficient because glass almost completely blocks UVB light.

Adequate amounts of vitamin D can be produced with moderate sun exposure to the face, arms and legs (for those with the least melanin), averaging 5–30 minutes twice per week, or approximately 25% of the time for minimal sunburn. The darker the skin, and the weaker the sunlight, the more minutes of exposure are needed. Vitamin-D overdose is impossible from UV exposure: the skin reaches an equilibrium where the vitamin degrades as fast as it is created.

The skin consists of two primary layers: the inner layer called the , and the outer, thinner . Vitamin D is produced in the of two innermost strata of the epidermis, the stratum basale and stratum spinosum, which also are able to produce calcitriol and express the VDR

So as predicted you dismiss 150 years of research in one unsubstantiated wave of the hand as a nice story, but you can’t actually say what was wrong with their experiments.
Can you say what's right about the so called experiments?
So alternate thinkers don’t just pluck ideas out of nowhere.
Of course but no more than the so called mainstream scientists. Don;t get them mixed up with real scientists that actually come up with real solutions to everyday life and actually show proof.
Where do your ideas come from, such as em waves needing a medium?

I actually thought it was massively logical to understand that everything needs a medium or it cannot exist.
Obviously the space stuff and the magical stuff we're schooled into is another matter, pardon the pun.
What have you got to back that up and why did you reach conclusion?
What I have too back it up is my concern. It's simple and I tried to explain the simplicity of one thing but people went into a frenzy so I won't waste another second on it.

If you have a good thinking mind and feel you can understand it then let's get back to centrifugal force or centripetal force. Does it require a medium in order to work?

Now bear in mind we are getting right back to the swing ball analogy but the crux is, does it require a medium to work in.
After all this is the supposed orbit explanation.

I'll make it easier.

If you are on a fairground rota or meteor...I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. How does it make you stay stuck to the inside of the outer rim?

Is this it? Have we finally reached the end of the thread??

It could be....

Thought not 😁

He also accuses (though not recently) government sponsored scientists of concealing information.
And you think everything's above board, right?

The whole conspiracy (actually up to 131 conspiracies from all the things being covered up here, not just the shape of the earth) relies on compartmentalisation - not sharing of any information, then refuses to reveal any details of how he reached his conclusions etc. Basically trying to compartmentalise his information.

No need for you to worry about that.
Or cover up basic bullshit because we all know the ideas are based on nowt by sitting back and making up shit at random.
And yet you still deal with me. Why?

If your answer is something like "ohhh because it's such fun to watch a nutter go on" then fair enough. At least it's a reason and not a reason to get overly bothered like you are.

I feel that he's done that trick again. Quite impressive.
Getting stuck into how you can have heat and light without friction. Gets backed into a corner, doesn't post til the next day with absolutely massive waffle and diversion.

I'm far from backed into any corner. I took a bit of time out because...and this may shock you.....I had things to do....but also I could see too many people were getting into a right frenzy so I took a back seat for a while even when I finished what I needed to do.
The issue goes away until the next thing. Now he decides he's not gonna post any more because he's out of his depth on something else.

Nahhh, I'm good. The posting was to help the frenzied.
Imagine being that wrong about everything, but insisting you're right, but unable to argue your point at all.

That depends on what you know to be wrong against what you know to be right. I don ;t see you offering any proof's. Unless I've missed out on you offering them. Have I?
I generally just see you appealing to your internet friends like this post.
Like you're stood on a stage explaining to them about me but not actually saying anything constructive.
Usually in a debate there's give and take, you might even accept some of your opponents points.

Yep and give and take happens but not when the argument is based entirely from referencing historical books and unproven supposed workings then arguing as to why I can't show experiments when the simplest experiment on offer was water level that any logical minded person would accept in a debate if it wasn't so ingrained into their psyche that water actually curves very nicely around a big ball.

Baffling as hell but understandable because I once believed all that because I was schooled to all hell with it all.
With this bloke he can't accept anything at all that's put to him because once he does, then if that is true so is this, this and so on.

To be fair I wouldn't be arguing if I was just going to say " ohhhh blooming heck, it is a spinning globe because lots of people have absolutely tried like hell to ridicule me for thinking otherwise."

I don't think so, do you?

I'll tell you what this is like.
It's like some big bullies coming up to a person in the playground and saying " the Earth is a spinning globe" and I say " I don't believe it is" and then getting kicked the hell out of and told " the Earth is a spinning globe now...right?" And I say, nahhh it's not....but I promise to think about it seriously if you can tell me how you know" to which the replies come all at once " we just do, ok, because everyone knows it's a spinning globe" and I say, "ok then tell me how you can prove to me right now?"
And then the punching and kicking and frenzy starts until I'm laid there battered and bruised with no answer to my question, other than "because it is, because that's what we were told."
This is just the milder verbal have a go. :D

Pull on the small thread and eventually the whole jumper unravels. He's just point blank refusing to accept there's a single loose thread.
And to think how many of you tried to unravel it and found you can't.
Since his starting position is there's a massive global conspiracy it therefore follows he can't accept anything he's ever told. It's such a shame because reality is so amazing and fascinating. He's going to go through life believing in a total fiction....I suppose ignorance is bliss in his case.
Or is it in your cases?
Must be exhausting rejecting everything
I don't reject everything. And it's pretty easy rejecting what is believed to be nonsense. It's not a strain to do it.
Nothing changes regardless.

Nah that's completely wrong.
