Do you honestly think they paid the 1 billion just to make the takeover happen? Yes the takeover was a consequence of the payment, it opened the door for it to happen. You'd have to be pretty deluded to think paying the 1 billion it was wholly and exclusively to get the takeover done though.
No I don't, but I think they have paid it to get the door open for them to get into football and get the sportswashing started.

My point was that people are saying it's going to end in tears and it will be a disaster for them. I just can't see it. Hope I'm wrong.

The hypocrisy of them defending a regime that wouldn't allow them to do any of the things they do on a Friday night in the Bigg Market is frankly stunning. I expected some morons to defend them because human nature being what it is, but literally every mag mate I thought was reasonable has just lost perspective entirely.

This is how brain washing works, and it's sad to see it in action

jason wilcox coming as DOF..think he is man city acadmey director now..
I thought they were going to go for someone proven in the DOF role with a track record for rerecuiting elite players at senior level. They were linked with some top names. Wilcox must have something about him to be involved in man city for so long though and he's been involved in a well ran club so has that insight. I sincerely hope it goes wrong.

Transfer of funds not yet made?
Worst case scenario is that they are just incompetent - I checked and KLD and other directors are listed the day after the transfer was announced. Best case……

Let’s see what GRumpy says but if shovel pyat and the others have committed an offense it is every citizens duty to report it!

Am I right in that anyone claiming to be a director of a company in the uk who is not listed on Companies House is committing an offense?

They are indeed. You have 14 days in which to notify CH of changes. The penalty is a fine of up to £1,000, increasing to unlimited fines for repeat offenders. It can also be seen a a breach of a directors' fiduciary duties. However, with over 3.6m registered companies, it's impossible for CH to police in the absence of third party complaints.

Oh dear, :D

This isn’t turning out the way they expected is it? I can’t see the Saudis wasting too much time and cash when they realise buying Newcastle has resulted in them trying to wash their filthy reputations in rancid festering shit. :D
Splendid description mate. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Is that 14 working days?

And once they are in breach I’m sure we can arrange some third party complaints!
