You no the point.
The amount of foreign tourists in London is not the same as a few stag do's in the Big Market.

And as for trying to do what, well obviously trying to improve the team (hence spending £40m on a new striker)
After all that's all you want right, a club that tries.

Know by the way.

My point was that with 'success' comes day trippers, tourists and the like. One local Spurs fan stays away and there are dozens of Heung Min Son fans waiting to take their place.

If you're trying to improve the team, don't you buy what the team needs to make it better? Rather than a vanity purchase against the advice of the manager?

Money talks.

Also, fwiw if the right managerial appointment is in place soon, I think we can get out of the bottom 3 before January. Any additions in that window will lift us further up the table. I expect we won't finish any higher than we have done the last few seasons.

Trying to do what?

No, it isn't. What's your point?
Personally think your players are in their rightful position, might get a “manager bounce” for a few games but can see you still being in the bottom 3 come January regardless who you bring in.

You can't compare Newcastle with London ffs.

I think an ageing average defence is looking leakier by the week. We've got good attacking options. Midfield needs a little love though.

A good manager can organise this lot to perform better than we have done, which should get us to January when we can bring in some better players throughout the spine of the team. New CB, CM maybe a fullback?

What are you talking about? As a tourist attraction? I'm not. Can I say that, should Newcastle start performing at the upper reaches of the league, we'd attract tourists to watch them? Of course I can. We've got people coming to watch Newcastle from all over, already, as do you lot.

f***ing hell Binxy man, you'd argue it was sunny outside if I walked in wet.

What the fuck are you going on about you boring ****? You cannot compare the north east with London. If 100 players were given the choice of living in the north east or London 99 players out those 100 would choose London.

Is this for real?

A good manager! the only managers you could attract would only join for the short term, any manager worth his salt will know that you utter morons will turn on him within 12 months, FFS you lot spat on Bobby Robson

Didn't you lot throw coins at Bruce? Didn't you abuse Coleman? And Moyes? And Johnson? Those in glass houses and all that

Watford go through managers like socks and they still attract more. Chelsea do it too.

Imagine players living in the middle of the freak show goldfish bowl that is Newcastle !! Fans constantly in their faces looking for phurturs with bottles of broon and dancing around like idiots !!
Any players will get a rude awakening
