Thing is they the richest club in the world with 360 billion give or take a few bob.

But thing is they are not, as Salman the beheader and his barbarians have nothing to do with pif because they told Masters the backhand receiver they aren't.

So do they spend fortunes, thus proving they are, or do they spend a little bit like every kernt else in the Prem.

I worked with him when he was Marketing Manager at Nike and used to play 5 a side with him. He despises the Mags with a passion. I'd be amazed if he joined them. Also he has morals.
I'm related to him (not that I've ever met him, or he knows I exist)

Comes from a long line of Sunderland supporting family from Seaham, as my Granda Marwood always pointed out when ever he was on telly.

This £360 billion bullshit is exactly that, bullshit.

The PIF have assets worth £360 billion not Newcastle, also they'd have to sell off those assets to get their hands on it.

There's no doubt they'll put money in but it will be nothing like the thick twats will be expecting.

OOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo get me, I'm related to Brian Marwood..... #pathetic!

Were the man City fans severely pissed of with their owners at that time or are you comparing apples and pears?

Who knows what's around the corner for you lot. Perhaps the Myanmar regime might come in and we'll see how much different mackems are from geordies.
The Man City fans had been sending Peter Swales threats for years in the 90s, he was disliked. Shinawatra had all of his assets frozen by the Thai authorities, he had to borrow £2 million from the previous owner to keep the club running and they were looking like possible adminstration candidates.

I know money talks but cannot see many established Premier League players being too keen on moving to a team who will obviously be in a relegation battle in January. Might get a few from abroad but very rarely these sign and hit the ground running.
Hopefully they are fucked!
Money talks.

Also, fwiw if the right managerial appointment is in place soon, I think we can get out of the bottom 3 before January. Any additions in that window will lift us further up the table. I expect we won't finish any higher than we have done the last few seasons.
You don't want a team that wins just a club that tries.

Surely spending £40m on a striker (however un wisely) was a club that was trying.🤷‍♂️

Tourists in London going to watch Son is not the same as some fanatics chartering a flight from Riyadh.
Trying to do what?

No, it isn't. What's your point?

Be interesting to find out though. Sheik Mansour is the owner on Man City, not a wealth fund. He can put his own wealth into the club and it states he’s worth 20 odd billion. He can sign his money off as and when. Not sure how PIF will work. They’re not investing 250 billion into Newcastle 😂 However we know Mansour is involved with abu Dhabi wealth funds worth as much as the Saudis. So essentially they’re worth just as much as PIF. I just don’t ever see them getting anywhere near city, Liverpool or Chelsea or even Man U anyway. I also think the top world class players will always choose those clubs over the mags. The only reason Shearer did was because he’s a mag.

... I think you've misunderstood a few things. PIF have estimated wealth of £360bn. Saudi Arabia is 'worth' £25 trillion.

You no the point.
The amount of foreign tourists in London is not the same as a few stag do's in the Big Market.

And as for trying to do what, well obviously trying to improve the team (hence spending £40m on a new striker)
After all that's all you want right, a club that tries.

Know by the way.
