I’m from South Tyneside and it wasn’t uncommon to hear people call themselves Geordies throughout the 80sYou see it doesn’t bother me as I’m not a mag or a Geordie the people complaining about it on here are moaning for getting lumped in, it’s up to them to do something about it if they want. They are quick enough to jump on smb members who make the mistake but I’ve never heard them criticise any radio presenters or journalists that do it![]()
