That's probably the best outcome on the grassroots, some activism and visibility. I think I heard Bayer fans have done some thing like that with their ownership issues (Phillippe mentioned this on Football weekly the other day).

Extra attention can be a detterent. It also might make people actually notice the bigger issues (people knew about khassogi but I bet a lot more people know about Western arms dealing to KSI now).

I think the long term solution on the football side would be better regulation of ownership rules.

Look at how they reacted to the stadium name change under Ashley to now. I know there's a subtle difference in what I suspect is being proposed but the difference is mental.

They are so desperate to win trophies and to be able to lord it over the rest that I think they've lost all sight of what a club is meant to represent. And its an absolute joke if anyone seriously thinks they are now anything other than a flimsy cover for the despotic saudi state.
