Have our lot conducted mock funerals? Shouted at shops? Picketed outside a football administrations offices? I think we all know the answers to those questions. You’re not arguing your case well at all are you?
Im not even gonna mention one of our directors quitting over the appointment of a fascist or the kerfuffle concerning the local NUM and their banner apart from to give you the possibility of a counterpunch…….which I’d only counterpunch you back with by pointing out that that shit was caused by the club not the fanbase. Granted we’ve idiots of our own to worry about but knowhere near on the scale nufc unfortunately have.

There are many reasons why Newcastle people and particularly supporters of the club are generally different - some of it goes back hundreds of years.
There is an underlying arrogance in many of the citizens that is shown in their claiming of anything positive in the entire NE.
Then you can overlay the whole band wagon jumping in the 90s. The very worst mags are plastic Durham mags with their pretendy Jihadi accents. It’s obvious why - what sort of person walks away from their history and heritage to support a rival team that happened to have a bit of a purple patch.
Now I’m not saying that all Audi drivers are arseholes but there is a much higher density of arseholes drive audis.

Benitez or Bruce?

In all honesty I think both sides can agree, Benitez is better than Bruce, however NUFC's performance with both were very similar. Whether Bruce had more money or whatever, the outcome was similar. I can understand NUFC fans liking Benitez and disliking Bruce, but the the polarisation of opinion is crazy... One was hailed as a god the other hounded from day 1. The only difference was perceived reputation and reflected glory.

It's mental really. We turned against Bruce after an incredibly poor run, reflecting on his performance with us. NUFC turned on Bruce as he was appointed because of his performance with other teams... he was never given a chance.

Said before, but there's a few factors there. Only bid accepted, Ashley the incumbent owner, the incredible wealth involved.

It's impossible to get a true comparison. You'd have to find a team that have had a hated owner who's neglected the club for over a decade, only accepting 1 bid, from a ridiculously wealthy group of murderers. So you have to use a bit of common sense.

I would hope that we would be far more vocal in our opposition. We wouldn't be talking about getting our club back.
