Obviously you feel strongly about it and fair enough.

Here's a question for you. Answer it as honestly as you can.
Let's say all Newcastle fans decided to give up their support. Totally blank the club.
Do you think the club would have any fans?
Yes they would, and you wouldn't be missed.

Corporates, daytrippers, sky and foreign TV subscribers who couldn't really give a shit about your club or where it's from, but just want to see big names playing football, would all call themselves fans.
Dubious choice of words what with their owners track record.
You can't behead someone if you can't find their neck ;)

Bit early to be smoking the strong stuff.
It's up to you if you want to smoke it. No need to tell me about it though. Keep it under your hat. 👍 :D;)

At least someone managed to get what I was saying.
Thanks for your honest answer.

The Saudi's own the club. If they wanted Bruce to stay, he'd still be there.
Or they are just trusting other people (Horror fyass and Yella teeth) run things for them ... According to Edwards someone in the consortium said that about Bruce

Like I said, read it more carefully.

Yeah, I'd say that applies to all fans of all clubs and all sports all over the world.

I am a fan and supporter of Newcastle UNited. I have absolutely no guilt for being a fan of Newcastle United.

You can spout it from supper to breakfast time, then a larger portion for lunch and even tea, if you want to, 24/7, 52 weeks of the year if you want.
I'm still going to be a Newcastle United fan as long as the club is called Newcastle United.

I'm sure you don't believe a word of that. I'm sure many would disagree with you.
Your own clubs' fans by majority would accept it. They may not all like it but they wouldn't abandon the club, in my absolute honest opinion.

No it's not.

There's lots of people that aren't very nice. Lots of nasty people. That's no defence. It doesn't need any defence because people aren't condoning anything outside of football, in the main.

I won't bother getting into arguments about this because it'll just turn nasty.

That wasn't the question.
The fans of Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea rose up against the European Super League - they showed a moral compass. You have been taken over by a murderer and seem to have lost any semblance of a moral compass. Newcastle are a big fish in a small pond and appear to live in a bubble where they think they are like all other fans. I am afraid you are not. Other fans would not have accepted this without a squeak, hence the outcry on every message board in the country. But keep your head in the sand and I'm sure you will not be bothered as the people round the country raise this shame year after year. I guess you can be like Millwall - 'no one likes us but we don't care' and you can keep coming on here with the tired old 'you would have been just the same'. No we wouldn't, nor would many, many clubs.

And by the way I don't think anyone gets the point of 'if we had no fans, would we have any fans'.

Its not too long ago that the fans of Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea stopped the advent of the European Super League. They could have gained from it but they knew instinctively that it was wrong. We now have new owners of a Premier League who's crimes outweigh any other owner by miles and miles. The outrage at the killing of Khashoggi was worldwide and was no virtue signalling and the man who ordered this murder now owns you club. How any right thinking person can be comfortable with this is beyond me.

You are clearly a good poster but what appear to be increasingly desperate attempts to justify your acceptance of these new owners (and bizarrely the acceptance by a Newcastle MP who has protested in Parliament about the same people's abject human rights record) does you no credit at all. Football is finally showing some morals whether its the fans bringing down of the European Super League, the drowning out of any boos for taking the knee by fans applause or the approach of the England football team and Marcus Rashford. You fans open armed welcome of murderers puts you in stark contrast and the shame will not be forgotten.

And as a final point you say you can show disgust if the club is badly run but you don't see the need to show disgust if your owners are such brazen murders. How on earth does that work.
This. Exactly this. Perfect.

That may have been the case for some supporters, not me, I didn't want him because he's a poor manager, a downward step from what we had and have had over the years, and we've had some shite, he was the worst of the lot....

I don't care where he had managed before, Sunderland, Birmingham, Hull, he just isn't a good manager....
Worse than Sheera or Raffa?
I don't see a relegation on his scumcastle record

I've always thought you were one of the more reasonable mag posters on here so since no other has answered my question, I am hoping you will.

What do your lot mean when you say "we've got wor clurb back"?

In the 70s you were demonstrating to get Westwood out.
In the 80s it was McKeag
Even in the 90s there were big protests against Hall/Fletcher over the bonds/platinum club and 3/4 years later hell on with Doug n Fred.
The in.late nowties in came FMA.

You have a history of being revolting tbf☺️

was going to say being in revolt, but cudn't pass up chance of a cheap shot !
I will never understand how Bruce did a worse job than Benitez

Because they are benefitting from it. Their football team wins which gives them a “nice feeling” with little other thought. That’s my take anyway.

why ? They've offered to stage in when Japan pulled out. I saw Messi in Abu Dhabi one year, it was great
Because it's all about backhanders and moving the game as far away from the actual fans as possible.

Sake with the world cup being played in quatar it's absolutely nonsense only driven by a power struggle between the gulf states FIFA and uefa.

I genuinely think, and I'm beginning to see evidence, that the Mags and their sycophants, really believe that people will get bored with it all, and the issue of their abhorrent owners is going to just go away.

I think they need to be clear that it's not.
We won't let it, the press that don't kiss their arse won't let it, decent people won't let it.

From "everybody's 2nd team", to something they would avoid stepping in, in one fell swoop.

This will stick to them like hot snot forever.
