Totally agree with this. Chelsea, Man Ud and City (even though they abstained) will be effected by this now. They do not want another competitor, however long it takes, for the Champions League cash.
They are miles ahead and these new rules, which essentially benefit the top 6 or 7 (whatever Sky call it this week), far more than other team in league. This is not about anything other than trying to ring-fence the Champions League cash.
Don't think your last sentence is quite right mate. Every club voted it down except City, and very few benefit from the CL money.
Magnanimous of you to accept my argument though.

Rafa the Gaffa = total legend. Took the club to 11th and 12th in the PL depsite Mike Ashley only spending a mere £60m. Steve Bruce = total knacker. Took the club to 12th and 13th in the PL despite Mike Ashley only spending £40m

I know all did, barring City. Would the special meeting, and vote, have taken place if championed by Burnley, Palace and Norwich?

The Benitez Bruce thing was always such a daft comparison though, Benitez left the club finishing 13th having stabilised and kept them up comfortably two seasons in a row. Bruce was then given the best part of a £100 million yet took the team backwards. It’s daft saying the win ratio or whatever is similar when Bruce was given all that money and made a stable mid table team worse.

Of course it would. What do you think the Premier League is, some kind of Cartel?😉
I stand, in magninomy (if that is not a word I have impressed myself with the creative power of Kirin), corrected sir.
I was assuming, obviously incorrectly, that the Premier League was a case of some being more equal than others.
I shall retire now.

He signed Maximim Wilson and Lewis for £50 million in total. Linton was never his signing. They will get more than that back when they sell them. Rafas signings he never played them and you couldn't give them away. Shows what the scum know about football.
