I've just saw this quote from a mag regarding FFP.

"Easy ways round it, there is nothing stopping PIF opening club shops in SaudI giving every one of the 20m male adults £60 to buy a Newcastle top , even if the club gets half, bang there is £600m per season through shirt sales and nothing the PL can do about it"
 Sounds plausible.

What is ridiculous however is how open they are to cheating.

Football clubs make absolutely fuck all from shirt sales. They get paid the licensing fee as a lump sum and a ridiculously low % of actual shirt sales

Will steve be hoping journalists are still getting a ‘slap’ from their editors? After all, nobody predicted him leaving by mutual consent.

As Sunderland fans it will be prudent not to tune into total sport as the whole programme will be dedicated to who will be their next manager. Our wine yesterday will get a small footnote.
I haven’t listened to it since the takeover and I have no plans to listen to it.

Has Raisbeck stopped crying yet?

"By the time I got to Newcastle, I thought I could handle everything thrown at me but it has been very, very tough. To never really be wanted, to feel that people wanted me to fail, to read people constantly saying I would fail, that I was useless, a fat waste of space, a stupid, tactically inept cabbage head or whatever. And it was from day one."

What a paragraph man.

Most clubs (Liverpool aside who have a 20% cut) have a flat kit deal.
