If this new sponsership rule comes into play then we will be saved as the mags wont be able to spend enough money to dominate. They will only get to the levels of Everton. Hopefully all clubs back this new proposed sponsership rule and it gets passed by the powers that be.
That level will do me.
The new sponsorship deal should not be passed. Others have been breaking rules for years, and years. Did the EPL get together to stop Man City... or Chelsea.... or Man United before them?
Whilst i do not agree with the sale it is done. There will always be clubs with more than others. Can't justifying changing the rules because, it appears, a team now has much more than the rest. Perhaps the issue is not the apparent gap in wealth but that it is not in the hands of the traditionally wealthy clubs?

I suspect it's more that the club is directly owned by a murderous regime with an abominable human rights record. perhaps.

It’s a good rule change and should have been done years ago. If you don’t agree with the sale, surely this rule change would have a positive dampening effect on the Saudi influence?
