I hope this is the start of every other club in the country being up in arms about this f***ing shitshow murdering regime.
This explains the Alex Bruce tweet then

So to sum up Newcastle’s first game as the richest club in the world.
They got twatted at home.
Players fighting with each other.
Fans fighting with each other on twitter
Hundreds of fans made twats out of themselves with tea towels on their head.
Fans making Nazi salutes.
Staveley can’t have a shite without getting permission from PIF.
Oh and Steve Bruce is still manager
Let’s hope this continues.

And fans harassing their new owners

1-0 to the premier league

I just think this looks petty and hypocritical.

I thought the rest of the league was coming together and rallying against a murderous, despotic regime being allowed to own a club and the same he that would do to the league and their marketing capabilities. That I would buy into and fully support but sadly that again doesn’t seem to be a priority.

To be fair, while I doubt their motives are to clean up the league, even if they were, this is probably the best thing they can do at the moment to undermine the Saudi's. They own the club now, that's done. This would just heavily undermine their efforts.

It's also the right thing to do. While it might be too little too late, this kind of restriction, along with wage caps etc. etc. should've been brought in ages ago to curtail the spending and inflation.

Interesting development this morning. The PL look very keen to stop Newcastle from signing dodgy sponsorship deals
Would be funny but if the PL are corrupt enough to let this deal go through in the first place they’ll be corrupt enough to let them pass some shady deal that lets them spend money that totally didn’t come from their owner.

as long as any court case drags on past January and the transfer window closes who cares
Unlikely as even as it did stand up legally (which I think is highly doubtful) it’s to prevent circumventing FFP via sponsorship deals, so wouldn’t necessarily stop them spending, but we’ll see.

And yet City didn’t even vote against it - only one club did. And it wasn’t even your Amanda who is currently breaking the law by claiming to be a “director”.
City abstained stating it was not legal. They had evidence to suggest that. It was a charge brought against city.
