But on toontastic he was discussing how they can get around FFP and spend as much money as possible
A way around it is sponsorship. They could rename SJP the Visit Saudi Stadium and have Saudi 2030 advertise all around the stadium. They could have SAUDIA sponsor their shirts.

But of course the fans wouldn't accept that.

Worse than this?
Not sure if it's been posted but it's not a good look for a NUFC fan when they're playing Spurs?

I honestly believe 1992 changed the mags from being a half decent bunch, to a set of self entitled planks.

FFP rules allow the PL to substitute arms' length values if the numbers are unrealistic compared to third party deals.

Doesn't work any more.

What kicked all that off like?

Sock account walked out at half time as he couldn't come to terms with the clubs ownership.

Posts a thread on twitter about what he's done and why, then signs off "see you at Palace" or whatever their next away match is.

People have a pop at him, including the polls account.

Socks fixates on polls as orchestrating a pile on, then offers to meet up today to "sort it out" as he knows where he works.

Continues to post at the poll account today.
Lots of bemused people join in.

I'm aware that what I've just typed out is a truly bizzare collection of words I'd NEVER expect to post on a footy message board - this or any other day.

It's like Monty Python wrote the script for yesterday.

So unless they are a success on the field, they'll be constrained by FFP ? assume they could sell stadium naming rights for £300m though ?

she is just the broker..as she was for the guys who bought man city and on dozens of other deals...its literally what her firm do.
and she wont be running newcastle.
Got a feeling she will run things at the mags

Its clearly what she's been craving a club she can be involved in the absolute horror she is

Correct. Interest (riba) from money alone is not permitted & there has to be some sort of trade or underlying contract. In substance though it can effectively be the same. A good example is comparing a traditional mortgage with an Islamic mortgage, for say a house costing £100k with the resident putting in 20% deposit:

Traditional mortgage
owner/resident pays interest on the 80% mortgage & either repays the initial capital back in say 20 - 25 years or gradual amounts each year

Islamic mortgage
Islamic finance provider owns 80% of the house & therefore charges rent on their share. Resident can later buy tranches of the house from the Islamic provider to increase their own share & pay less rent.

I think the islamic finance providers have to provide an APR for comparison purposes but the substance of paying "rent" and increasing your share of the property is not much different to paying interest & repaying capital on a mortgage. I think there was a loophole where people used Islamic finance to purchase expensive properties as there was no clear outright owner and therefore avoided paying stamp duty, but I think that loophole may have been closed.
Mint.. so they’re renting NUFC from Big Mike!! Just kidding but funny anyway

One is imitating a people by the colour of their skin, one by their traditional clothes.

Stag-dos wearing lederhosen aren't offending Germans, football fans wearing berets and striped t-shirts aren't offending the French, a few morons wearing headscarves are not offending the Saudis.
Ok. If thats the case in your world then fine.
Who am I to argue with such sensible comparisons?
