no it doesnt...the richest people in thr world always borrow whether they need to or not...the poor view being in debt as a bad thing..the ruch view it as a good thing..both are correct. investment funds choose to borrow all the time..
debt is also very tax efficient, though thats less relevant to the saudis
Staveley got a loan from ashley to buy her 10%

All sounds a bit weird to me

she didnt..the newspaper got that wrong..
but again, if she had doen that, it would be a lot shrewder than using her own money...
why? firstly its more tax efficient for when she goes to sell..
secondly..if the interest rate was low enough,..she could invest the same money in something that makes cash now..at a higher interest rate than she owes ashley..

so lets say..she owes ashley 3 per cent a year..?
she invests in a trust which pasys 4.5 per cent a year..
she uses that 4.5 per cent to pay ashley his 3..and keeps the 1.5 per cent a year for doing nowt...her money is therefore working twice for her..once to own newcastle and once to make her 1.5 per cent..
thats how rich people do it..
borrowing money is not a sign they dont have any when rich people do it..

Many on here said there was something not right about this deal.

You're just shouting numbers out like a f***ing bingo caller.
There is no way Ashley is lending her money for less than he can get by safely investing it.
You think she's shrewder than Fat Mike?
Jog on.

he would be if it was helping him tax wise or if it was helping the deal over the line.
remmebr he is about to get a huge wodge of cash..loaning some back out reduces the tax bill on that..
rich people dont need more money..they need less tax bills..
and she didnt take the loan from ashley..as the times have now confirmed..it was agreed that it was there and availabel but not taken up.

I’d say it was the same. At least the Mags wear their own shirts and not the badge of the opposition team.
Wimbledon home match couple of seasons ago...there were mags in the Hilton before the match wearing Wimbledon tops that they had bought specifically for the game. 3 50+ blokes one who was with his adult daughter. Not being in anyway discreet and talking about their favourite mag away matches they'd been too.

You’re ignoring my Aramco references. $260 billion of free cash flow in Q2 2021. Be closer to $400 billion in Q3.

there’s some crowd pictures on there, looks like it’s being played in KSA there’s that many tea towels on heeds

Most of that is used to fund the Saudi State; there are no taxes of any kind in Saudi Arabia. Very little, if any, of that will be available to PIF. PIF exists because the Saudis know that the days of fossil fuels are numbered, and they need to replace that as best they can. There'll be precious little for an investment likely to yield zero income, and insignificant capital growth. All you're displaying is total ignorance of how the Saudi economy operates.

What happened to her face? Is she ill or is it plastic surgery? There's a picture of her on here from 2016 I think and she looked very pretty. What happened?
She’s got Huntington’s disease. Don’t know if this would affect her face but it’s a knacker apparently and seriously limits her lifespan.
Kinda puts some of the comments she gets about her face into perspective. (The politics and business side are fair game in my eyes though!)

Why is there a charge in favour of Ashley in PCP Partners then?
