New manager will get these players playing at their level, at least. Which is a sharp improvement on Bruce's mess.

Last season we had two long winless runs (7 and 9 games) and we still ended up with 45pts. I'd say that even if we don't make waves in the January market (which I don't think we will), a better manager than Bruce will get us to safety.
His collapses are legendary at this point. The post Christmas ones in particular. We were sixth in the new year then finished barely above relegation. 1 home win in a calendar year for us iirc.

It was outside of the ground on the street that leads to the high level bridge
Really? f***ing Hell that's grim. I was talking about the photo of the moron giving the Nazi salute up at the Spurs fans.

The stewards in St James' have been shit for years. Another thing on the to-do list.

Because the return on investment is not as good as it is compared to places like London and property values do not increase as quickly as they do elsewhere. We're not talking about a fella that wants to buy a second home for £100k to rent out here.

Unsure how Sunderland would benefit, please explain. Why would Sunderland benefit from investment in Newcastle? How has Sunderland benefitted from the disproportionate levels of investment that Newcastle has had over the years in comparison?
Still waiting on that promised Metro system.

He reckons Graham Jones would improve their side on his own. From what I've seen, he appears to be taking a front seat as it is - Bruce can barely get a word in on the sidelines

We'll just have to see then

Well I suppose he kept Luton in the Championship.

 I think our biggest problem under Bruce is his inability to get a tune out of a defence that was pretty good under the previous manager. Hayden is, at best, a bottom of the Prem/top of the Champ defensive mid. But he needs an organised defence behind him because he's just not that good.

Ritchie is a right winger, pushed to leftback because managers haven't trusted Dummett (or Lewis), he shouldn't be played there at all, imo.

Joelinton is.... Hell I like the guy, but either he needs to play in a system we can't put out, or he needs shifting off to another league.

Decent manager can get us solid at the back and with Wilson, ASM, Willock in attack we should still be able to score goals.

But your fans want to play attacking football, you can't have it both ways with the players at your disposal. You were complaining when you were keeping it tight and urged Bruce to play an open, more attacking way, he's done that and you're still complaining.

And they will continue to be "emboldened", so long as they feel that everyone in black and white support them in it.
It's not just St James' that's got these kinds of problems, but you're right in so much as the rest of us need to do more to show it's entirely unacceptable.

They know exactly what they've bought. They've bought a fantastic football club in a fantastic city. A one club city..
They also know the squad. Stavely and co are not stupid. They know it needs a massive overhaul to get anywhere near the set up of the elite clubs.

It may not. Only time will tell on that.
However it's certainly looking like it will fare much better than what Mike Ashley could offer it and like it or not, the overall feel good factor is returning which can only be good for the restructuring of the club and city.

And yet he keeps getting jobs.

Wish I had mates in the media, I reckon even I could have had a solid League 1, Championship career out of them.

We were complaining that we were playing deep and passive (and still conceding). We weren't complaining about defensive football under Hughton or Benitez.

Of course we'd love to play attacking football, but football that gets points on the board is even more appealing.

I didn't see that. Doesn't surprise me if it came from Level 7 as there was a load with towels on their heads. Loads of Saudi flags up there too. Doesn't sit well with me.

How do you reckon the whole "the castration of gays and the bombing of Yemeni children is a price worth paying to be rid of Mike Ashley" crack assists in tackling the issue?

Nor me.

Level 7 is where a lot of the young kids and daft lads sit. Closer to the away fans. No excuse and way, way more should be done by stewards, the club, the PL and the FA to stamp it out. I know there are threats of lifetime bans, but it doesn't seem to be working.

Also, the idiots in headscarves won't see that they're tacitly supporting a murderous regime, in their heads it's all a bit of banter. Camels and tea towels, all a bit of a laugh isn't it? I despair.

But mate, its like I've said before. Yours and any other decent Mags fans voices and opinions on any thing like this cannot be taken seriously, when they are supporting directly, or indirectly a murderous regime.
I really do feel for you.
You are in the invidious position of not qualifying to take the moral high ground on any subject like this.
