If I've read the FFP rules right, they have £190m over three seasons. They could spend it all at once, but what about the next five windows? In addition, where your wage bill is more than £60m a year, you can only increase it by £4m a season; that's going to hurt them maybe more than anything.
Cheers Grumpy. I was watching sky sports talkin with Neville, Carragher and Scholes and there were a few mags gloating about spending and how rich they were. There was an Everton fan trying to tell them because of what they have spent the last few windows they could only spend 1.5m in the summer. This would make sense right?

Two brilliant articles in the Times Sport this morning.
1 from Souness and 1 from Jonathon Northcott.
Two journalists that can now hold their heads high. Especially Souness, talking about " moral bankrupcy".
This is going deeper than just our disgust.
Superb.
Cheers, good reads those 2

Souness

Jonathon Northcott

Can you please NOT refer in any broadcast to the Newcastle takeover being good for the whole NE region.
It’s not good, when a vile murdering regime are being lauded because they have taken over a football club.
It’s sports washing and I wish somewhere in your organisation someone would have the bottle to call it out for what it is.
Despite the popular but very misleading opinion the people of the North East are made up of far more than Newcastle fans dressing in tea towels. The decent people of the North East are anything but in support of this and are ashamed, simply because of where they live, at being associated with something they deplore.
I hope you can make this clear!
Sent something along the same lines. Mentioned barbaric murder of Khasoggi and that the well respected BbC should be reporting responsibly and factually.
