I miss all that mate.

Mind you - I don't miss the mad parents who believe their son should be playing for SAFC / NUFC / BORO and behave like absolute idiots.

Tend to be bit more realistic down here. Most kids follow Man Utd or Liverpool (naturally 😳) but all support Newport. The kids seem to go to Cardiff, Newport, Bristol City & Rovers. I'm hoping for a Newport away in the Cup today so I can go and watch the Lads. One of the Dads pulled me up at training the other night and just said about the takeover " I bet you're f***ing raging" and shook his head. Canny set of lads with good banter.

Not so sure myself, I put MOTD on after someone said he said something... all he said was "human rights"

It's like an icecube has fell away from the iceberg. No mention of Khashoggi or out really of substance
The standard agreed answer seems to be they’re aware of the human rights issues but they’re just happy that the long suffering supporters are now free from the tyranny of the previous owner.

** Request for the Mods**
Please consider the following
1 - On behalf of the Sunderland fans on this forum please contact Amnesty International requesting them to give an overview of their objections to the Newcastle takeover .
Place their reply as a permanent "sticky" at the top of this forum .
Ask them how we can provide practical help
Give them link's to other fan forum's and social media sites .
2 - Also get legal advice - and provide a permanent sticky outlining the background and objections to the piracy criminal actions - the outstanding questions still to be answered - in clear understandable language .
3 - Finally one month before EVERY Newcastle game - provide link's for their opponents fan forum's and social media accounts - and encourage as many people as possible to contact them with information - ideas for banners and advice how to give practical help .
Again this to be a permanent "sticky"

So they are resisting sacking Bruce because it will cost them and they will only employ an out of work manager as his replacement, presumably because they’d need to pay a club compensation if they appointed one already working.
Doesn’t sound very rich to me 🥴
Is Dennis wise doing owt? John charver? Pardew? Pity Barton still has a job. Steve evans would be a perfect fit but he’s currently working anarl.

Toon army Saudi Arabian holiday 2025:

Day 1 - stoned a few undesirables including a couple of adulterers, good job auntie Lisa isn't here, she's onto her 3rd partner.

Day 2 - rest day

Day 3 - watched public beheadings, I didn't win the raffle to do some lopping, better luck next year

Day 4 - day at the mall and bought a new toon top

Day 5 - guided tour of the prison where the gobby people are, saw 100 lashes which was a surprise and we didn't even have to pay extra

Day 6 - nice relaxing day next to the pool, got hammered on cocktails and a quick fumble with one of bar staff

Day 7 - flight home, there's been a problem with my visa and I have to pop into the embassy first though

Never seen or heard of ever after...
Tidied.

Sportswashing. Give a little to make it seem plausible but sweep the dumper truck of shit under the magic carpet; the suitcase from Fantastic Beasts has nothing on the carpet

No fan of Ashley, but for the media to refer to the fans to be free of tyranny is distasteful and way over the top. The media staying silent on UN documented abuse, is basically complicit in these abuses.

Two brilliant articles in the Times Sport this morning.
1 from Souness and 1 from Jonathon Northcott.
Two journalists that can now hold their heads high. Especially Souness, talking about " moral bankrupcy".
This is going deeper than just our disgust.
Superb.
I’ve been waiting for souness to speak up.
