You could also argue that the 300bn (or 700bn) cannot be spent as it is in physical investments and/or equity investments. The fact that they had to borrow 15bn in 2020 indicates that PIF don't have billions of liquid capital.
who told you they had to borrow? rather than chose to? good investors borrow when markets are low..its not about whether they need to or not
the fdifferene is PIF can spend what they has as they please..
blackrock cant..they are regulated and the money is not theirs.and the clients decdie what to spend it on..

no the PIF money i theirs..ie the sauidi state owm that money..and can spend it as they want..
the assets figure quoted for blackrock is other peoples money..in regulated funds that have to invest in things they are told to invest in..if they dont they are going to prison..
the PIF has the asset number people are quoting..debt is not relevant..poor people dont like debt..ruh people take on debt whether they need to or not..
