Are you f***ing serious? Numerous campaigns spring to mind. The most obvious one is the campaign from Newcastle United supporters to get a murderous medieval regime in charge of their football club, which culminated in complete success last week:

it’s a PR campaign to launder the reputation of a murderous regime. That’s what NUFC is now. That won’t work if the fans aren’t onboard. Look at how the Saudis react to dissent.

If you’d come out against it with a tenth of the energy you showed in supporting it, there’s not a chance that it happens. Fortunately for the buyers, you are the most pathetic, craven, dishonest group of boot licking scumbags they could ever have hoped to find anywhere. That’s why this takeover has gone through. I'm not supporting it. I do realise any condemnation on the crest of a wave however, won't be heard. The time for engaging on the political issues will come.
