@Exile 1968 do ya tw@tter bit ;) Hoy this Post War average position graph up showing the average overall finishing position.

You could also ask what the fuck do less relegations mean regarding having a 'history'? They may have been relegated less but they've been in the 2nd division for 28 seasons. That is 6 more than Man Utd's 22 but 12 of those were in their 1st 14 seasons, so just 10 seasons in 2nd Div since 1906.

A quick copy n paste in Excel shows the times the Mags and Man Utd have finished in their entire history. In the 1st image, the Mags have averaged 14th and actually finished 14th 4 times with positions spread out quite a bit. Man Utd is the 2nd image with average of 10th but a lot more top heavy.

Here's another one for you to kill the delusion of being elite ;)

You can reply to this tweet saying summit like this "2 of those times you got into Europe as the LOSERS of the FA Cup Final and 3 other times was through the BACK DOOR via Intertoto after you'd finished 11th, 14th and 7th."

Where were they the 10 seasons before that.

Aye but ha'way, Newcastle United being bought out isn't exactly going to prompt a bunch of celebrities in the entertainment industry to get on their soapbox, and nee interviewer would think to ask them.

It's a shame those within football aren't saying an awful lot about it, but to expect Elton fuckin John to come out and condemn the takeover is a bit daft really.
Ok Chris. NUFC. Has just been bought by the public investment fund of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Google Saudi Arabia and human rights issues see what pops up. Some of the people I’ve mentioned are very vocal about human rights as I’m sure you are aware. Some of them because it no doubt doesn’t hurt their image, some of them because they are genuinely concerned.
The issue isn’t the club. It’s who bought them and now owns them. Can’t you see a connection there?
Oh and The Kaiser chiefs are amnesty international ambassadors anarl :p

“it shouldn’t be on us the fans, we should be allowed to be happy Ashley is gone”

load of bollocks that like, dancing in the streets with Saudi flags and tea towels on ya head, defending murderous scum with all the vigour of someone defending Alan Shearer.

The more I read about this the more amusing it gets. Any success they have will forever be tainted. There's no argument, it's disgraceful to accept money from these people. And the amount of people, both regular fans and also professional people such as journalists, who are outing themselves as completely void of morals is also revealing. Even Bruce, who is about to be sacked by the fuckers is saying 'that's down to the politicians to discuss'. Imagine living your life like that, what an absolute coward. It was easy to hate them before, but this makes it even easier. Fuck them.

Bruce is missing a trick. He should ask for half his contract paid up to walk away then state he couldn’t possibly work for such people so he has decided to step down.

He is going to look like a right knocker when he is inevitably peddled unceremoniously, be it Monday or in a few weeks.
