TBH that worries me, as it suggests that they're actually planning on doing things sensibly. Thankfully the absolute whoppers that make up their fanbase will soon make that go tits up:lol:

They have that much money they'll probably be afforded a lot of mistakes. Unfortunately.

Every new owner issues a rallying cry, it's par for the course.

But Staveley is like someone who's been thrown in front of a mike to fill in for someone with football knowledge who couldn't make it in time.
Egotistical sycophant.
In bed with the disgusting majority owners of a club she knows fcuk all about in reality. Must have the conscience of a slug.

True. The thing is that all the elite clubs will have as much/more to spend and are already far smarter than NUFC are. Football at the elite level is now a closed shop - which is unfortunate for all clubs who aspire for more.

Because of the human rights issues they are so fond of being very vocal about. You can hoy Kate bush in there anarl. And Keira knightley
Aye but ha'way, Newcastle United being bought out isn't exactly going to prompt a bunch of celebrities in the entertainment industry to get on their soapbox, and nee interviewer would think to ask them.

It's a shame those within football aren't saying an awful lot about it, but to expect Elton fuckin John to come out and condemn the takeover is a bit daft really.
