I'm surprised at the lack of football advisers they seem to have around. I did read about some bloke who was involved at Liverpool years ago helping them out last week - he was hardly a well-known name mind.

You'd have thought they would have at least sounded out some names to get involved, given that they had 18 months to plan for this moment. Apparently not.

Since They found oil there they have learned money can buy anyone and anything. They’ve bought their way into the league but there are still other teams in it that won’t roll over for them no matter how much cash they throw at it. It’ll be interesting to see how they react after a few howkings and possibly a relegation.

Go behind on Sunday and the “Bruce Out” chants start is all that’s needed, “he’s clearly lost the support of the fans, we had no choice” will be the excuse used for sacking him

Time will tell but much like yourself I’m somewhat bemused as to why they’ve found themselves in charge of a PL club having spent 300million to get it but havent had the foresight to have someone competent in mind to run it for them.
