Ex. NUFC employee Craig Hope writing in the Mail this morning that other clubs are ‘green eyed monsters’ in relation to the Mags takeover and another article by him with Jonjo Shelvey saying “our fans want Messi and Mbappe”.

More Magmedia propaganda. Farcical.

Craig Hope - another lickspittle masquerading as a “journalist” who is an utter disgrace to his profession.

A similar piece from Sam Cunningham in iNews. Saying that the other Prem owners are morally no better than the Saudis.

Utterly shameful the way they’re carrying out the sports washing for MBS.

Sounds like the PIF are buying Inter Milan.
f***ing hope that is true as it would prove they're not going to be throwing the money around.

I also think inter would become their main project as that's the one they could win the champs league with. Would take them 5 years for Newcastle just to qualify.

LOL, how long do you reckon flags criticising the Saudis will last in the stadium?!
No mention of flags criticising the Saudis - just ones 'raising awareness of victims'.

May be indicative of the mindset some Newcastle fans have got - "not happy about the owners, but not going to protest against them. Best thing we can do is highlight the victims"?

I guess they might also worry that they come over as spoilt brats if, having finally got rid of Ashley, they're now turning on another owner?

If the sensible ones agree that their new owners are pretty nasty pieces of work - and that's not to say other clubs aren't in the same boat - they'll have to decide whether this softly softly type of protest is enough for them morally.

Sorry but that's far too simplistic. We hate Ashley for many thubgs:

Treatment of Jonas Guttierrez, Alan Shearer, Kevin Keegan, Chris Houghton, clumsy attempt to rename SJP, using ground as a marketing vehicle for Sports Direct whilst paying nothing for said marketing, appointung cronies with no football experience being their competence (Lambias, Jiminez etc).
Gonna kill you all when the club relocates out of town then and the Reubans expand their commercial property empire on the old centre spot.
Bet you turn a blind eye to that Billy2Heads

I reckon if you walked around the back of the gallowgate end with a pride flag or some sort of banner criticising the Saudi regime on Sunday afternoon you’d be verbally and possibly physically abused
Without a shadow of a doubt. Just look at Twitter, they’re whipping themselves up into a frenzy.

Does it matter? It’s f***ing 700 pages long about how much we don’t matter.

And, apparently, you have other forums with more big arse Sunderland threads?

You f***ing barmy bastards
Aye, it matters. It's 9 years old and smaller than the thread we're currently posting in.

To claim either side don't care about the other is f***ing lunacy.
