Erasure

I thought it was fantastic. A brilliant show and the crowd was well up for it
Couple of notable omissions from the early stuff, but I understand they have to put a few new ones in. And they did the decent thing and got most of the new stuff out of the way early.

Agreed with the crowd, the place was buzzing. If anyone had Covid in the floor, we've all got it now.......

Carlsberg Export on draught always helps

We were near the front and the atmosphere was brilliant - worth getting covid for 😂

I just think it odd that you feel the need to state your sexuality when saying you like an erasure track.

I like that track too, but don't feel the need to post that I'm bisexual, lesbian or straight.

Not really a massive deal just a thought.
Is it because you don't have a penis maybe? Typically women enjoy camp as Christmas tunes. Whereas men can happily go along with loving Queen I think Erasure is more overtly gay music.

Was there Saturday. Queued 40 mins to pay £5.30 for a can of San Miguel and missed the start
However, great night overall

We got there at 8.20 and I headed up to the bar on the 3rd floor and got served in about 15 mins - I got a Carlsberg Export two pinter to keep me going, can't remember what I paid

I got another two pinter from the bar at the back of the stalls about halfway through and only waited about 5 minutes

I thought the venue was excellent compared to somewhere like the City Hall in Newcastle

Andy Bell is the only bloke I've seen who looked good gold hot pants - Wild tour 1990

I'm straight and have no problem saying I enjoy 'gay' music or when I was younger going to gay clubs because they're class

I'm flummoxed.
What is a camp as Christmas tune?

This is a very old thread but I posted on page 1 of the thread because the OP seems to think being gay is wrong (see posts #1 and 4), or at the very least he doesn't want anyone to think he is gay, as if that was a dreadful thing.

Cat has the uncanny ability to turn any possible topic of discussion anglophobic, misandristic, or both.

I generally hated gay house music but A Little Respect is a cracking tune, not saying that is house music like

Yeah sorry I was shattered last night and fell asleep soon after... I wasn't attacking you but kind of agreeing with you that women openly love camp tunes like everything Take That did etc

The Apollo is a cracking venue, always has been. They could do with sorting the bars out downstairs, it takes forever to get served when the supports are on.

£13.60 for those 2 pinters.

We must have got lucky at the bars
