It makes me jump back to when I was growing up and they were in the middle of the keegan era.
they fucked that up and supporting Sunderland felt like an underdog type battle to get in and around where they were.
looking back now it felt like we had a real togetherness and bite about our support.
An underdog type, fuck everyone attitude that made following us when I was at school and into my young adult years a great atmosphere to get into.

An interesting question. Not many players will have morals when it comes to big bucks. Stirling is already fabulously wealthy so can afford them. Factor in agents encouragement and I think the list may be shorter than you think.
 
I genuinely can’t wait for this to go tits up, which it will. Haven’t looked forward to anything in my life as much as this being a total disappointment for the fuckers.

oh I don’t even expect there to be one , there will no doubt be a few players claiming they wouldn’t sign knowing fine well they wouldn’t be offered the chance anyway but that’s about it.
