I guess their logic is the bottle of Corona sort of cancels it out...

I get the argument that financial fair play means they can't do another Man City but these blokes have just paid a billion dollars to cover up a piracy issue.

If they break financial fair play rules what are the premier league going to do? Fine them? They could lose 500 million as if it were 50p
Me currently really annoying Newcastle supporting mate , reckons next season Newcastle will be sponsored by the state Airline. If that does indeed happen, it will give you all of the answers you need about how they are going to pump shit loads of money in.

Lets just wait and see.

You are right about us against the state of Saudi but stand tall and support the club with pride rather than saying 'little old Sunderland'...........They are still the same shameless club and gobshite supporters who believe they are owed the world. Its just the self proclaimed geordie nation are now in partnership with one of the most immorral and backward countries in the world who have got a bit poke - they were made for each other tbh
Never said I would not stand tall and be proud, but was merely outlining the fun we will have whenever we beat their team of superstars

I'm pretty sure City and PSG proved recently that FFP means fuck all.
It’s just the typical people on here that call any negativity bedwetting. FFP is a joke, they’ll find a way to get around it and the premier league will do fuck all. How can they intervene with spending money when they didn’t intervene on human rights issues. Of course they’re gonna spend a fortune.

Fuck that
at the end of the day when we play them again it will still be 11v11 and we will have every chance of beating them…..bring that day on …and sooner rather than later

Agree. And we will be going up against a club with the most despised and hated fans in the world, run by the most evil man in the world, who is using them as his propaganda vehicle.

It’s actually going to add an extra ingredient for me. The whole of football will be cheering us on, and any victories will be even sweeter.

A mate of mine flew business with them to Riyadh to visit Aramco. They have a special menu for sparkling water. Maybe they want to turn Riyadh into a hub like the others....

I know a jawdee who claimed that the money they made in sponsorship deals under Ashley a couple of years ago was only a fraction more than when Shepherd was ousted.

These will use every trick in the book. They'll have a dozen companies ultimately owned by the same bloke where they can suddenly offer more money for sponsoring the shirt / the ground / the training ground etc.

Man City have done it and it's sadly allowed.

There was a rumour going around that they were still interested in buying Inter Milan. Is there FFP in Italy? If not what stops them buying someone for 200 million at Inter and loaning him to Newcastle
