This has changed. The supporters have not. In the main we are the same as you lot. Working class folk who have seen the club win nowt. Go to games expecting nowt. The supporters, of both clubs, are the thing that has long marked us out as being special. The crowds both clubs attract are exceptional under any metric you care to utilise. The away support is second to, almost, none.
All these riches guarantee only one thing. We should improve. We are a long, long way behind West Ham and Everton who should be the initial target. We are, in my opinion, a decade of heavy investment, astute management and luck behind Man City, LFC, Chelsea and Man Utd.
Talk of League titles in 5 years is just madness. Qualifying for the Champions League in 5 years would be a huge success.

Agreed, i’m gonna get all of them harping on about it at graft today, the joys of working near scumland. The postman is the worst who comes in graft, gave it the barry mcguigan when rafa arrived saying thats them safe and we’d gan down and he said fuck all after we relegated them until the day they were promoted and we went down then piped up again about footy, only a week ago at least 3 different mag fan clients had told me they hadn’t been interested in going and the club can fuck off, dare say they will all pipe up again in the coming weeks and make football their top convo. As far as im concerned what will be will be with them lot but we just need to carry this good form and recruitment and get ourselves back up them leagues and see what KLD can do for us long term. Get back to the premier league and write our own story. Here’s hoping we can do that.

Time will tell I guess. The only competition we have any realistic chance of winning in the next 5 years is one of the Cups and that will require a favourable draw.

There were not 50,000 hounding Robson, posting personal details online, trashing the city or actively supporting the Saudi regime. This logic would imply all Sunderland fans spat on Reid, which of course you didn't.
