Putting the rivalry aside for a minute. It’s big news in English football and should be debated on what impact the Saudi state owning a PL club will have.

The fact it’s happened just up the road means of course it’ll get discussed. Taking about it doesn’t mean it will end in any particular way… that will be down to the intentions of those who’ve bought them and the decisions they make (same with any change of ownership)

Of course there will be some who can’t just turn a blind eye. I just think those principled people would be in a minority (at any club, in this scenario).

Good for them but this nufc takeover feels like we got relegated again, I am absolutely gutted. Between this and disgusting modern football, I am almost about to call it a day on this sport.
