Ross Stewart has been a breath of fresh air. Contributes more in one game than Wyke did in 5. That’s just my opinion. Wyke just isn’t mobile. He’s a tank. Needs the ball played directly to him. He’s a good striker at this level. I’d have baulked if we had offered him a long term big contract

We are actually quite a forgiving fan base when it comes to players. Aslong as we can see they are giving 100% and shying away we will back them.

Don't think we always get on their back and we can be a forgiving fanbase, but there is massive pressure playing for us. Same with the mags. Can be a heavy shirt to wear.

I don't think there'll be much in it with goals. But performances and teamwork is where they are quite far apart IMO.

Wyke is a poacher who to be fair, works hard. Stewart is a proper target man, has really good physical attributes to play on his own. He's taller, stronger, quicker, more mobile than wyke. He seems to buy fouls when wyke would give fouls away. Wyke still a good player for this level though. Stewart might be able to step up to championship.

This in a nutshell. Wyke is quite limited and reliant on a certain type of service. Stewart is just more dynamic and I'd back him at the moment to move up a level, where Wyke's lack of all round ability wouldn't allow that.

Crazy Legs Crane is a certainty to never score 30 goals like Wyke. No matter how much he is fawned over for a decent start.
