Motogp 2019

As well as being on slicks in the rain Binder said he kept running on in the corners because he had no brakes, his carbon brakes don't work without heat in them. Scary stuff.

Dry wet races are always exciting as the time differential between slick and wet can be huge so the strategy is vital and decisions need to be made quickly- anyone could have won that race.

Least surprising news of the decade. Maverick has been sacked by Yamaha. Cal on the factory bike for the rest of season?
I thought after his grovelling apology at the weekend he might get back in. Seems he thought so too. Will Maverick ride for Aprilia this season, then? Maybe Salvadori's injury means MV will get his seat...?

Maverick consistently fooled Yamaha into thinking they were developing a good bike in pre season testing only for it to be a p.o.s. when it came to actually racing against other bikes.
If they had listened to Vale they might have had a chance.
That and getting shot of the Michelin tyres

Jake Dixon confirmed at Petronas for next weekend with Darryn Binder likely to be on the bike for Aragaon. Looks like 2 out of them and Lecuona for the satellite Yamahas next year.

Morbidelli moving straight up to the factory team once he's fit apparently.

I see Vinales' much-touted return on the Aprilia didn't exactly got to plan...

And apparently it's now mathematically impossible for a Honda rider to win the championship...

Misano this weekend. Weather could be interesting...

Franky Morbidelli back from injury this weekend, but he's taken over Vinales' seat on the factory Monster Yamaha, and he's signed with them for 2022 and 2023.

And Dovi gets Morbidelli's seat at Petronas SRT Yamaha, and he's signed a deal with them for 2022.

I see Fabio is trying his best to chuck this championship away.

It can’t be long before Mark starts winning again. He is getting close.

Mathematically one of these eight will be World Champion:

Quartararo
Bagnaia
Mir
Zarco
Miller
Binder (!)
A. Espargaro
Vinales

So only one Yamaha rider, three Ducatis, two Aprilias and one each from Suzuki and KTM. And not one Honda rider, amazingly.

Still some twists and turns to go, I'm sure. Wonder if MM93 will feel the need to stick a spanner in the works somewhere...?

Wouldn't be the first time the SFB had interfered to decide who wins the championship just because he can't.
