I hate to mention a positive for up the road but as a footballing busines they are on a very sound footing......in footballing terms they might be a. Shambles but financially they are streets ahead of us and to deny that makes us look like biased fools.

We have been run into the ground by a couple of del boy clones and let's not forget that!

Onwards and upwards is the cry but let's not lose a sense of perspective...some people on here have us walking this league because of a good start I would love it to be so but I have been supporting safc for a very long time and nowt is ever that easy for us.
Newcastle have just spent 25 million on one player and I doubt kld spent that on buying a stake in us! So we have a very long way to go before I get my Billy big ball pants out of storage.

You are missing the very point that most of us laugh at. Financially they are very well run - operationally/football wise they are a disaster. Their interpretation of compete is to be funded by a benevolent owner, or mortgage themselves up.

They are not the richest most talked about clurb in the walled ! They want to be seen on TV wearing silly outfits or better still with their sharts off in the winter at away matches.

Most people would simply think they're just another ordinary PL club like most of them.

And why does the BBC keep allowing Alan Shearer to use MOTD as a platform for his endless whining, he's supposed to be there to discuss football and not just discuss the internal politics of one club.

If he's so concerned he should be actually doing something about it, except twisting on TV.

Who gives a flying fck??
All football is about is the next game, whether you think you're going to win it or not and whether you're going to enjoy it or not.
As things stand we're doing ok now in that regard and it's extra enjoyable to watch them regularly lose.

Yet they want "investment in the region". :confused:

The mags were also complaining that they didn't want buildings built near Sid James as it would spoil the "iconic skyline".

All of the above but it basically boils down the fact they are a set of deluded, self entitled, moronic arseholes. The Forest Post above sums them up. I know a few Forest fans and never would they go on like this
