Genuinely wouldn't have him in the team anyway. Obviously he'd be in the squad, but if it helps his mental and physical recovery I'd rather he didn't go.

Had Mahmood/Woakes as the 11 and wood as my 10 intially.

Then was like nah I'd have Woakes in definitely. Clearly didn't check my post before submitting.

I'd have Root too but not a chance he's getting taken.
 
Given the choice, I'd prefer him to be physically and mentally fit and well for the Ashes. If it means missing the T20's to do so, I'm fine with that.
