People might say it’s a road (which it is) but mentally the pressure is there and they’ve ridden it out. New ball seen off near enough. If they can’t win it let’s hope the top order get runs and build confidence.

England’s bowlers have done pretty well this match imo but it’s tough going

Bowling hasn’t been too bad, Root just persisted with our quicks for too long (bar Overton who has had his feet up, compared to Anderson who looked absolutely shattered) and then without coincidence, took wickets as soon as we switched to spin. And yes, pitch is flat as a pancake

It (the draw) could happen. And even if doesn’t, it should be a very compelling days cricket

I’ll admit, I popped out to weed the drive and when I came back in to see us batting, I assumed they’d declared.

Personally I think you dead right the comments before the last test match were so out of perspective and yesterday afternoon as well, despite them having someone as good as Rohit batting on a feather bed.

The negative comments are too much from posters all the time.

We have more than competed in this series against a good India side despite having our own problems with absent players.

I personally would be over the moon if we won for the reasons you have stated
 
Delicate balancing act of keeping your wicket (highest priority) and keeping the scoreboard ticking over.
If we let the chance of winning get completely away from us, it will allow them to have a much more attacking field which in turn brings even more pressure.
 
It does look tricky for Burns when he lands it in the spot and it spins. Could be some logic of sending Root at 3 if Burns went out. Obviously now it would just be a night watchman
