As much as bairstow has been LBW again, I think he is comfortably still one of our better available players. Imo should take butler's place until he sorts his redball form out
 
I have yet to witness any of today’s game due to prior work commitments. Overjoyed for Pope, he’s stupendously talented in my opinion.

100%. Tomorrow looks best batting day, though day 4 might be alright too. Not much sign of it turning or misbehaving in an up and down sense. 100 lead is what we need, every run counts. Puts them under more pressure too.

He's batting better. I think one bigger score from him and you'll see a lot of confidence return to him (Bairstow that is). It's coming, he looks a bit more compact defensively.

That little dab style shot Pope plays for a single square on the offside just screams of getting him into trouble when the ball actually does a bit.

Mind nobody appealed or even thought it hit his boot so doesn’t matter anyway.
