The average was 18k when Keegan took over. Sunderland who were roughly just above us was 16k despite playing the derby it was the best in the division despite being bottom 6 all season. Mind Sunderland fans come out the woodwork in their droves that season in the last few months semi final and cup final tickets 😂😂😂😂
Another gravy stained mag on here. Piss off man

Funny isn't it the mags on here at work and mag mates all take the piss as we're in league 1 and we'd be the same but the thing is our fans seem happier at the minute, we are good to watch we can actually see a plan in place by the new owner and hopefully a brighter future and can't wait for the next league game to come around.

where as them lot even though they're in the premier League are pissed off, hate the owner, dread the next game crowds are starting to dwindle the football on offer is awful and it looks like Ashley is there for a while yet

A lute (/ljuːt/ or /luːt/) is any plucked string instrument with a neck and a deep round back enclosing a hollow cavity, usually with a sound hole or opening in the body. It may be either fretted or unfretted. More specifically, the term "lute" can refer to an instrument from the family of European lutes.

Send him a video of Martin Prince from the Simpsons. That'll show him 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Our squad is incredibly weak, especially with players being shoe horned into the wrong positions. Ritchie and Murphy are very poor as wing backs, our defenders look finished and we just let our best one go. ASM and Wilson will not stay fit all season in all likelihood, in fact ASM looked ruined after 60 minutes last weekend. Willock is a good player and I'm glad he signed but he's unlikely to score in the way he did last season. However, re signing him (whilst a few have left) at best leaves us standing still. We were flirting with relegation almost all of last season until last 5 games and have not improved.

It's perfectly reasonable in them circumstances to feel like we may be in bother this season. Especially with such a poor manager at the helm.
Thats harsh. He can't help where he was born.

Would love to know what monetary value he puts on the fans mind.
It's f***ing hilarious reading some of the stuff the mags write mind. It's ok for them to stop going to the games and have thousands of empty seats because they've had enough of the owners and the shit football on offer

But when we've done the same in the past and in most instances it's been far far worse we are apparently shite fans

Was saying just that at the weekend to my mate, that despite the differences in leagues, it's you lot who are happier and more optimistic.
Noticed he went off quite early at the weekend. Thought he must be injured
And that makes it worse we didn't at least sign some cover on loan or something if they knew that yesterday. Gayle or Joelinton next in line.

You mean the season you won the league, and we finished 1 point above the relegation zone?
No I mean the season before we got promoted check the facts and smell the cheese

Just the massive difference in the make up of Sunderland fans as oppose to the entitled wankers that are our neighbours !!
Just a more accepting grip on reality

Our average that season was 18,390 and Roker Park had a capacity at the time of 22,500. Check the facts.
