Northern trains


I emailed them last week after squeezing onto the 11 13 from Horden. They told me they only review services every 3 months, but then got another reply saying they don't decide on carriages until the day and sent me a link to check.


If it's just 2 again on match day I'll get the bus or take the car. Must have been at least a hundred people left on platform and hardly anyone could get on at horden or Seaham. Coming home there were 4 carriages on and they were less than half full.

I got the 7pm train back and I'm sure that was 3 carriages.

Do you have the link to see what stock they have for the day please mate?

Yet how many billions for HS2? How much is spent per head on transport in London? I’m not expecting that kind of treatment but more than 2 museum pieces on a Saturday isn’t asking for a lot. I’ve been hearing the same tired horseshit about trains up here since I was a teenager. I’m 61 next month.

last time you used a local train we had steam & Easington train station was still open 😉

Some rural areas are f**king woeful Hank. I’m not on about aliensville or Sunderland or poocastle alone. You get out of towns and it’s shit. And getting worse.

Why would they put 4 carriages on late in the day when they left all those passengers on platforms earlier in the day? They really are as thick as shite. That’s bordering on taking the piss that.

I'd check it on the morning, it looks like it o ly gives you details on the day of travel.
