You know I thought it had but just assumed my stream had buffered and I’d missed the 2 dot balls. With no commentary I had no idea!

Have to be honest I thought we were just short with runs but delighted we've managed to win the game. Pleased for a few lads who have been south for a week or so who have seen two good wins having spent a lot of ££. Very much looking forward to going to Scarborough on Thursday. Well done Durham. Also well done Clarky scoring well again.
 
Good win but a bit like our T20 campaign at least one batsmen has to take control of those middle overs and make a big score. I thought Borthwick Bedingham Dickson and to a lesser extent Clark where the culprits today.

No not singling him out but one of the batsmen who got a start had to go on and bat through those vital middle overs which they didn't do. Clark and Lees did it in the first match and the score was huge. I know he can't do it every game but if they want to make those big scores and bat the other team out of the match normally at least one had to go on and get that score.
As far as Bancroft goes he is just out of form or is not the player he was 2 summers ago.

I think Clark is in to get us off to a fast start. Once in a blue moon he will have a phenomenal knock but it shouldn’t be expected IMO.

Definitely his main job in T20 and the 50 over is to make the most of those opening power plays overs but after that early onslaught I honestly believe he is good enough to lower the gears and knock it about. He is more than just a pinch hitter in my opinion.
