I really think he is terrified of knacking his finger. 99.9 times out of 100, he'd catch that. Can't criticise lord stokes on here
Predictor had them at 30% or something with 10 balls to go, checked the odds on betfair and they were 8/15 on, I know odds are not always correct but they shouldn't ever be that far off.Win predictor is absolutely useless, they were 3% at one point
Not on current form, there is a hell of a squad to pick from though.Stokes and Willey would not be in my T20 world cup team
Hales....whiter than white
Aye. To the area of the ground that has been shortened from what would be the normal Trent Bridge dimensionsThe hyperbole is daft.
"Deposited back into the pavilion" when it's just cleared the rope and didn't get past the hoardings.
Decent game though, shocked how many shirts have been sold as they are £50ish, or are they a lot cheaper in the grounds?
To be fair i‘ve considered paying £50 for the Northern Superchargers kit, it’s lush like.Predictor had them at 30% or something with 10 balls to go, checked the odds on betfair and they were 8/15 on, I know odds are not always correct but they shouldn't ever be that far off.

Rashid played for Sussex again this season.I've not seen a single game that wouldn't have been just as good if it was 20 overs, labelled the Blast and involved our existing counties. Rashid Khan is probably the only player involved who hasn't already played in the Blast this season.
"Kim Jong-un school of journalism" spot on!
Im more shocked when I see 2 or 3 kids in the same group wearing them, with tickets, food, and the tops that's an easy £200+ on what could be the first and only time they see the team if they don't enjoy it.To be fair i‘ve considered paying £50 for the Northern Superchargers kit, it’s lush like.
Ben needs to stop moaning about pitches and learn to bat better against spin. From the BBC coverage:
During the match England all-rounder, and Northern Superchargers captain, Ben StokesYou must be logged on to see external links"what an horrific wicket at Old Trafford".
Used pitches tend to be slower in nature, allowing for more spin, which makes strokeplay and timing the ball more difficult for batters, in turn leading to low-scoring matches.
"Is that what we want to see in The Hundred?", asked BBC radio commentator Stephan Shemilt.
"That was terrific entertainment and great skill from Matt Parkinson, but is this what this competition wants?
"Do we want to see raging turning pitches where a side struggles to get to 87?"
Setting aside that the person running Stokes' twitter has made a bit of boo boo, the whole context around the above is horrific. So we don't want to give the bowlers anything now do we not? Is it purely a case of watching hired gun player X smash hapless bowler Y into the stands, just as they did in Sydney, Bridgetown, Karachi, Durban and Dehli?

In fairness, £50 is well worth it when they’re about £5,000 to buy in twenty years time as part of the niche retro market when the tournament has been long since mothballed![]()
I know you and many others don’t like this comp but do you genuinely think it will fail?
I still think it’ll be really big in a couple of years.

Aye this I think. It may well follow the same trajectory as the Aussie Big Bash. That got really big for a couple of years then slowly reverted to just another spectator sports competition in a saturated market and attendances dropped awayI don’t think it’ll fail.
I don’t think it‘ll succeed in penetrating the public conscience either.
It’ll simply just exist in a weird purgatory where it’s enjoyed but not loved.
