Lack of transfers concerning?

I understand the frustration as I am the same however I won't have that opinion until the transfer window has closed mate
I am not one to panic, i agree lets wait and see when the window closes but like all i wanted the basis of the team in place ready but it seems not to be if the likes of AOB are still getting a game.

Yet another new owner that refuses to stick his hand in his pocket. Jury is out until the end of the window of course but shite about data approaches; mythical drip feeding tactics; or playing the ‘youth’ conversation shut down card, are all just tactics deployed to excuse or distract from the fact that there’s nout coming from the owner yet again.

Hes not the full owner so can't really be expected to stump up every penny.

I want you boys up, it's a good day home and away but sadly I just can't see it. It doesn't look like Johnson is being backed at all.

One word not mentioned, relegation, it is a distinct possibility in the state we’re in.
You’d like to think We wouldn’t possibly actually get relegated but an injury to McGeady and our fit side Would be

Burge
Younger Flanagan Doyle Dyce
Evans Winchester Neil
Diamond O’Brien
Stewart

Not a cat in hell's chance we will go down, we will finish top 10 easily with the squad we have without anyone else coming in.

Unfortunately I can't see us going up unless we get in two 1st choice full backs, two 2nd choice full backs, a centre half to play alongside Doyle (we won't get a full season out of Wright IMHO) a goal scoring midfielder and a striker capable of 15+ goals

That's half the 1st team required t go up.

At the minute

Burge

Younger
Wright/Arby
Doyle

Gooch
Pritchard
Evans/Embleton
Neill

McGeady
Stewart
Diamond

Thats a team too good to go down

Yes it’s too good to go down. But Arby is injured for the foreseeable, Wright is obviously surplus, Gooch is injured right now, Pritchard I highly doubt will be fit for start of the season

After the investment in the pitch, stadium and the safc tv I thought he would of backed the manager. Bizarre. We get rid of a 30 goal forward and don’t replace him. I like Stewart but can’t see him knocking 20 goals in. We need goals, pace, creativity, solid goalkeeper, right back, left back. It’s pretty shocking considering we are a few weeks away.

Agree with all this, but absolutely nobody saw Wyke scoring 30 goals, and he did.

Stewart looks more likely to score 30 goals this season than Wyke did this time last year.

Obviously not guaranteed, and it would be a surprise if he did. But lets not rule Stewart out just yet. I'd like another option up top still of course.
