Toys still out of the pram? Have they admitted this about buying Kane from Spurs for £150m or are they still claiming the investment in the region nonsense?
 
Rafa Benitez was saying the other day that it would be hard to get Everton into the top four as they wouldn't be able to spend big money due to financial fair play rules. I'm assuming the mags are expecting the Saudis to spend shit loads. Man City don't seem to have any issues with FFP. Is there such a thing as FFP now? Can anyone enlighten me?
 
I was in Eldon Square and around the monument today for about 2 hours and there was extended families fully kitted out wandering about - please tell me there was a game on?

Exactly that. To me their argument falls down because they are saying the PL is corrupt yet failing to avoid the glaringly obvious fact that they're proposed takeover is the epitome of corruption.

This nonsense about benefit to the area - that twaddle has been traipsed out for years. If Newcastle does well, the whole of the NE does well. It's utter garbage. As a city, they get all the investment and opportunities and have never cared for any other area.

Like you say just be honest and admit they want to be filthy rich.

I've heard from my Mag mates for months 'Its gunna happen it's gunna happen' and it just hasn't quite amusingly.

It’s been a sunny day, this is probably the nearest most of them will get to be in a situation that’s like being abroad so they feel obligated to parade their scruffy tops.

I have no doubt many of our fans would happily ignore the human rights record if it meant they were going to take us over by the way. But as others have said in this thread, the mental health thing, and the endless bleating about it does my head in.

Mag at work got excited when they announced the new strip manufacture saying that’s the takeover sorted. They own Castore so must mean the deal is done 😂😂😂😂. I said I’m not quite sure you have a grasp of the real world.
