I suspect even if someone could be bothered to type out a satisfactory answer you still wouldn't belive it.

I do get where you're coming from though as a lot of science is theoretical and some people find it hard to comprehend. It's not about following the herd as you say, I'm offended by that.
I choose to trust and believe the scientists who have dedicated their entire lives to studying this instead of some individuals who make stuff up in their bedrooms without doing any kind of studying whatsoever.
Don't even think of replying with the words "do your own research on the internet"

Where are these further lands/resources?

The 'big bang' has nothing to do with the shape of the earth. If indeed the universe has a creator/designer why make the earth flat yet every other celestial object (of large enough mass) a sphere.

Cue space is fake argument in 3 2 1....

A good point which, if he was arguing about the angular velocity of distant spiral galaxies, i'd be happy to discuss and potentially agree with.

Flat earth no such thing as gravity nonsense is exactly that... nonsense

Nobody knows how it started or why. All we know is that there appears to have been an event 13.8 billion years ago.

Inventing domes and flat earth's don't do anything to help

You're making an assumption that people are stood with their backs to the centre of a circle and arguing that they can't see the southern cross.

i suspect the further lands are down past antartica , the shape of objects in the sky has no relation whatsover to do with the nature of earth

We all follow the herd. It just depends in what way. The following varies and includes myself, massively. Very few, if any escape following the herd mentality.

I have absolutely no issue whatsoever about who you choose to trust and your reasons.
There's many many scientists do amazing work. Many people inventing new stuff.

I love science and I have the highest regard for real scientists.
The issue is in trusting the one's that are theoretical down to pseudo.

There aren't, I've been there as have thousands of members of HM forces and civilians of many nations. You can book a cruise down there right now yourself to satisfy your curiosity if you choose.

Why does the shape of objects in space have no relation to to the shape of the earth?
