Lewis Hamilton should be higher since he's an actual GOAT contender in his own sport.
Murray's a great player and has done Britain proud in a sport Britain has historically been abysmal at and very likely would have a few more majors in another era, but he's not ranked in the top 10 greatest tennis players ever. If he's the greatest then it means Britain doesn't have a GOAT contender in any global sport which I don't think is the case. You could argue Chris Froome is probably higher too, although Cycling a very tainted sport.
Scotland's greatest? Probably, I think Chris Hoy is a bit overrated, given Jason Kenny is going to surpass his haul means cycling is a sport where its fairly easy to rack up a lot of medals. I've always felt Steve Redgrave 5 golds across 5 different Olympics was better than Hoy's 6 across 3 Olympics.
