I never claimed to be the moderator, I couldn’t be arsed with the hassle. I don’t see antagonistic shit after every match, in the recent few games there’s been a load of whinging about poor performances/bad captaincy/poor team selection - some of it by me - but the overriding feeling is that we’ve done more than alright in this campaign.

I will say however that Stokes was the recipient of some ridiculous overreactionary slagging after the game last night. To say I’m glad he’s shut a few people up is an understatement.

So he shouldn’t. The lad is an unbelievable talent, isn’t the end of the world if he has a bad run of form. He’ll win us more games than he costs us, as shown today

Chops pointed out he isn't that great a T20 player compared to other formats which is fair comment. One poster said "he is currently doing an impersonation of the worst cricketer in the world" which was understandable because he had just bowled one of the worst overs I've ever seen.

Imagine when Durham win all you can think about is starting aggro with other posters over your interpretation of some crack they said an hour ago

I think there’s an argument to say Root would be better in the T20 England side for a comp in India.

I’ll care about his iT20 record the minute Durham play against India. Last I checked we are playing Warwickshire today, and he’s our best player by a mile. Bancroft can’t even get a game for the Aussies
